Is joomfuse really working ? was created by Jaroslaw Bucholc
Hello
We are still not fully utilizing joomfuse I i do not know what features are available to the end user.
Recently we started marketing and we are getting subscriptions and None of the New subscribers is getting associated with proper group
Do we have to associate groups manually to every subscriber ?
if yes then question comes to mind what joomfuse is really doing ?
Sorry I feel discouraged about using joomfuse at this moment and worrying about stability of the system especially where clients money are involved.
Help will be really appreciated

Hi,
Let me try to answer the questions one at a time.
1) There is complete video documentation for JoomFuse on JoomFuse.com. That should go a long way in answering this question. If after you have looked at the documentation you have any specific questions, please either post them here or send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
2) When people sign up for a subscription, does that trigger an Infusionsoft campaign? Does that campaign set the proper tag that is mapped to a Joomla User Group and is an HTTP Post executed to JoomFuse to create or modify the user and put him in the correct user groups.
3) No, you should NOT have to associate groups manually. If the proper tags are set and the tags are mapped to user groups in JoomFuse, then when you execute an HTTP Post from an Infusionsoft campaign, the user should be put into the proper user groups.
Also, please be sure that you are running the latest version of JoomFuse as we are always making tweaks and adding features.
While I do not know, it is my guess that you are feeling discouraged because you do not understand how to take advantage of the power of JoomFuse. We have many people running complex membership sites for years with JoomFuse and Infusionsoft managing them.
All the best,
Dom

Given what you said, the first thing I would look at is the User Group/Infusionsoft Tag mapping in the JoomFuse configuration and make sure that it is set up correctly.
You can also turn on debugging in the JoomFuse configuration to get more details in the log file.
I would also upgrade to the latest released version of JoomFuse that is on the JoomFuse site. There is nothing specific there to address this problem, but we are always tweaking the product.
Regards,
Dom

Here is another idea that may help you sort out this problem. Try making JoomFuse calls from your browser.
There is an article in the Joomla/JoomFuse/Infusionsoft Hints & Tips section there is an article I wrote called "Making "Quick & Dirty" JoomFuse calls". This will show you how to call JoomFuse from your browser.
You can set the tags in a contact record and then call JoomFuse from the browser and see what the results are. This eliminates the Infusionsoft campaign and the HTTP post from the equation.
